If you have been to the clinic lately you may have seen Jill and Lisa enjoying egg bake for lunch. It's good hot or cold and is easy to take to work and eat throughout the week. Best part about it is you can enjoy this healthy dish for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Here's the recipe! Ingredients: 18 Cage Free Eggs Package of Mushrooms (any kind) Handful Shredded Cheese (your choice, I used monterey jack) Spinach Seasoning salt Butter Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350
- Cut mushrooms in to thick slices
- Saute mushrooms in pan with a little bit of butter and seasoning salt
- In a mixing bowl, mix eggs on high-speed until fluffy
- Put eggs in 9 x 13 glass baking dish
- Lay sautéed mushrooms over eggs
- Lay spinach over mushrooms covering mixture
- Sprinkle shredded cheese (I just used a small handful)
- Cover with tin foil

Thanks for allowing me the opportunity to share feedback on my experience with Innovative Directions in Health and more specifically, Dr. Sinda.
Bottom line in my experience with Dr. Sinda – he has been able to help me accomplish more with my health in the past 6 months than any other physician has been able to do for me in the past 7 years.
I was always diligent in making sure my annual exams every fall were completed. Every year I would explain how I was tired, not able to lose weight (even though I was exercising 4-5 days a week), and was waking every 2 hours each night, and all those other things that come along with my age. My physician would spend her 10 minutes with me and ask me the same questions as the previous year (even though I had been going to her for many years) and then tell me the same thing “you just need to accept it” and “there is not much you can do – just work out more!” I even went to an Endocrinologist and had additional testing done because they were convinced that I had a thyroid problem – nope wrong again!
Quite honestly – I was tired of hearing the same response and decided I needed to be assertive and challenge what they told me. So, I pulled out the last Suzanne Sommer’s book and starting reading – then got to the section of recommended facilities and noticed there was one in Minnesota! Yeah!
Fast forward to January, I scheduled the appointment with Dr. Sinda where we went through a very thorough discussion on my health, history of my family’s health and discussed the Innovative Directions in Health’s process. Being very impressed with the level of attention to me and my symptoms, I decided to move forward with the process.
My lab tests showed that my progesterone was extremely low, my estrogen was low, and most surprising was that I was Vitamin D deficient. Based on the all the results, Dr. Sinda was able to personalize my treatment plan with natural replacements. After 4 months of using his recommended approach, here are the positive changes that I have seen:
- Not tired anymore!
- Losing about ½ pound a week and have more energy to work out – working out 5 to 6 times a week.
- No more feelings of being bloated.
- Actually getting sleep – only wake up once a night.
- Found a physician that actually listens and gets to know me as a person!
The current results have been wonderful, but the even more amazing story is that the changes that I have seen from my experience is creating a more long term impact on my health. I work for a large healthcare company and for the past 5 years we get incented with lower healthcare premiums based on “passing” certain biometric screening tests. This is the first year that I have been able to “exceed” these metrics – BMI, Blood Sugar, Cholesterol and also the Blood Pressure measure. No more being a “Pre-Diabetic” or “High Blood Pressure” patient!
Making the decision to work with IDH has been one of my best health decisions – after all we are in a “consumer directed health environment” and this is proof about how taking responsibility for our own health can be rewarding.
Thanks Dr. Sinda for listening and making an impact on my current and future health. Don’t change anything with your approach, just try and reach more people!” Cheryl F.
We would love to reach out to help more people.

Innovative Directions in Health is proud to announce our Nurse Injector, Jill Porter is now a National Trainer for Bellafill!
Because of her extensive experience with cosmetic injectables, Jill has been selected to train other providers about the indications and techniques used with this premium product!
Bellafill Background
Bellafill is breaking ground with collagen stimulation lasting 5 years! Bellafill has become the dermal filler of choice because it stimulates and creates your own collagen production resulting in a refreshed and natural look. We recommend Bellafill to patients who want to correct facial wrinkles, treat acne scarring and create an anti-gravity facial framework. Because Bellafill is permanent dermal filler, the manufacturer takes care to select only providers that they deem capable of administering this product.
How It Works
Bellafill contains collagen and small synthetic microspheres. The microspheres create a structure under the skin. Collagen fills the structure, adding volume to the skin and correcting lines and wrinkles. The microspheres in Bellafill are not absorbed by the body, so the body’s collagen is provided with a permanent structure to support the skin.
What to Expect
Treatment with Bellafill is very similar to treatment with other injectable fillers. There is a skin test that is done prior to injections to identify those patients who may have an allergy to bovine collagen or lidocaine. Lidocaine is provided to minimize discomfort during injection. Upon injection, you will usually see immediate improvement to lines and wrinkles. The amount of Bellafill required will depend on the severity of the lines/wrinkles being addressed. A follow up visit will be scheduled to monitor the results of the collagen growth you experience. Results continue to improve with time as your own collagen growth is being stimulated.
When you are ready to experience results that stay and are natural looking, Bellafill is the choice.
Reach out to Jill for more information at nurse@idinhealth.com or call for a consultation at (952) 922-2345.

Hello and Happy 2016!
What a wonderful year 2015 was! I’ve been taking the bioidentical hormones for over a year and a half now…feeling great! 2015 was a whirwind. We have 2 new grandchildren, my interior design business has never been better, and my days fly by feeling balanced and happy.
One special event last October was getting to go Germany. We were going to be gone for 10 days and I was starting to get my packing list together. We had a wonderful coordinator and I learned some important travel tips that I didn’t know.
Biggest tip!
Did you know that you can’t just put all your prescriptions in those cute little pill boxes? I did not know that when flying internationally, it’s important to take your hormones or any other medication in the original prescription bottles.
When going through customs, they need to be able to see the content, your name, and the prescription number. Who knew! I was so glad to learn this, as I was not leaving my bioidentical hormones at home, and certainly didn’t want my cute little pill box to be tossed in the trash before I even left!
We had a wonderful trip..and I didn’t miss a day of being balanced, well rested, and happy to be there! Thank you Dr. Sinda!
Have a wonderful February!
Warmly,
Susie Ries, Patient at Innovative Directions in Health
If you have questions about taking your prescriptions and supplements with you on a trip, contact Innovative Directions in Health or your pharmacy. There may be other accommodations for medications that need to be refrigerated or stored at a certain temperature or taken in a different way.

This will be your new favorite winter soup I promise! Super easy and delicious!
Creamy Dairy Free Potato Soup with Kale
A thick, creamy, hearty and delicious DAIRY FREE Potato Soup loaded with veggies. Grab a spoon and dig in! Ingredients Needed: 2 cloves garlic, minced ½ onion, diced 2 ribs celery, diced 1 carrot, peeled and diced ½ cup frozen corn kernels (or fresh if you have it) 4 cups diced potatoes, peeled (about 56 medium size) 3 cups vegetable broth ½ tsp dried dill ½ tsp celery salt salt/pepper to taste 1 cup chopped kale ¼ cup coconut milk (I used So Delicious Dairy Free Culinary Coconut Milk), optional a few dashes sriracha or hot sauce Instructions:
- Sauté the onion and garlic with 12 tbsp water in a soup pot over medium heat for about 3 minutes until starting to soften
- Add the carrot and celery and sauté 34 more minutes. Add another tbsp or 2 of water if needed so the vegetables don't stick.
- Add the vegetable broth, potatoes, dill, celery salt, salt and pepper.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes until potatoes are tender.
- Using an immersion blender, puree about ¼ â…“ of the soup to create a thick creamy base. (alternatively, take about 2 cups of the soup and puree it in a blender and then return it to the soup pot).
- Add the corn and kale, stir to combine and simmer 5 more minutes to heat through.
- Take off heat and add coconut milk, if using.
- Serve with a few dashes of sriracha or hot sauce if desired.
