In addition to getting adequate progesterone (if you have an estrogen-progesterone mismatch), you can also supplement with magnesium, coenzyme Q-10, folic acid and vitamins B6 and B12 to prevent migraines. FYI- These tend to help PMS too. ~ Dr. Sinda

Fibrocystic breast disease is often associated with relatively low progesterone in relation to estrogen. The best way to manage this would be to ister natural progesterone in natural ways. This could also decrease the risk of breast cancer. The usual prescription progesterone is artificial compound (not bio-identical) and can instead increase the risk of breast cancer and should be avoided. ~ Dr. M

Estrogen is not just a female hormone. Men also produce some estrogen. It is important for many functions, including memory. Too much estrogen in men is harmful and is associated with diabetes, excess weight, low libido and maybe even prostate cancer. When estrogen level is high in men, it should be controlled and kept in healthy range. ~ Dr. M

A large European study found that 4 lifestyle habits
were definitely associated with longer, healthier lives:
1. Exercising vigorously at least one hour per week
2. Eating 4-5 servings of fruits and vegetables daily
3. Not smoking cigarettes
4. Alcohol in moderation (if alcohol is not a problem for you) which meant 1-9 glasses of wine or 1-7 beers per week.
There is no earth shattering revelation here that most of us haven’t heard in some shape or form before. But they quantified the benefit, concludung that people who practiced all of these habits llived 14 years longer and had higher quality of life during those years.
