Q) I am in menopause and am using the Bio Identical Hormones to replace my Estrogen, Progesterone, and Testosterone and everything is great, but out of the blue I get acne on my face. I’m assuming its hormone related, how can I make this go away?
A) Hormonal acne can occur when testosterone levels become too high. I would suggest to stop using the testosterone for one week and see if the acne improves. If testosterone is the culprit, then restarting testosterone with a lower dose would be appropriate.
