The Best In PRP Treatments
We are thrilled to be utilizing the CarePRP™ system designed for optimal PRP separation and ultimate personalized precision Platelet-rich plasma injections. Our FDA cleared system extracts pure PRP containing large amounts of growth factors and signaling proteins that promote collagen and the repair and regeneration of tissue. Treatments are tailor-made to our patients’ treatment plan and can be injected in areas including: the jawline, facial wrinkles, under eye area, cheek augmentation and more; as well as applied topically.
What to expect from PRP Facial Rejuvenation:
PRP Facial Rejuvenation is one of the lowest risk treatments because the process involves injecting a substance sourced from your own body. Our RN/Injection Specialist, Annie will draw blood from your arm. After a quick 3-minute centrifuge spin, plasma is separated. The red blood cells are sealed in the bottom chamber leaving a natural, golden plasma solution rich with growth factors.
The platelet rich plasma is then injected in areas designated for volume or rejuvenation. To enhance your comfort, a topical numbing cream can be applied before the injection. Most PRP treatments can be completed within 30 – 60 minutes.
If you are impatient, good news immediate improvement is seen! Most patients notice an immediate glow and an improvement in their skin texture in the first month due to the increased blood supply and circulation. It takes about three months for maximum collagen regeneration to occur. Although you’ll see results from just one treatment, we recommend 2-3 treatments spaced at 4 – 6 week intervals. The results of PRP rejuvenation are long term with most patients receiving touch up treatments at one year to further stimulate collagen production and continued facial rejuvenation.
How to Prepare
To lessen the chance of a bruise, avoid anything that thins the blood for 3-4 days prior to treatment, i.e., fish oil, aspirin, ibuprofen, alcohol, etc.
If you bruise easily, you can also take arnica tablets, a homeopathic medication that naturally decreases bruising and swelling 4 days prior.
Increase your water consumption to 8 – 12 glasses the day before treatment. Being hydrated will produce a better result when drawing your blood.
Mild injection site bruising, swelling or redness can occur but usually resolves after 3-7 days and may be safely concealed with make-up shortly after the treatment.
